A home inspection includes your roof, basement, floors, foundation, heating and cooling systems, electrical and plumbing systems, fireplace, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living space, attic, Insulation and ventilation and interior/exterior walls, windows, doors, porches and decks, and attached garage. There are additional fees for crawlspaces, pool/spa and detached structures. For more detail about what your inspection covers, view the InterNachi Standards of Practice. 

Although not required, I recommend that my clients be present for the inspection. I would love to take time during the inspection to answer your questions and teach you what I can about your new home. Children, family, friends and sellers are welcome as well. 

For an average sized home, the inspection will take about two to three hours
